My name is Leslie Pralle Keehn, I am a newly hired technology integration consultant for Prairie Lakes AEA. Prior to coming to the AEA, I taught 6-12 Social Studies and 6-8 computer at Northeast Hamilton CSD in Blairsburg, IA.
I received a BA in Political Science in 2008 and my Masters in Curriculum & Instruction: Technology in 2012. I come from a family full of educators, including my mom, husband, and 2 of my sisters. I got involved in using technology in my social studies classroom from the very beginning when my school foundation gave me money to be a Wii for my classroom, and everything kind of took off from there! I'm passionate about gamification, blended learning, global connections, and student creation and collaboration beyond the classroom walls. I'm a 2011 C-SPAN Educator Fellow and the 2012 Iowa Council for the Social Studies Teacher of the Year. When I'm not working with teachers and students I'm spending time with my husband and my 3 kids, or watching the Colts play!
